I am writing this post because I have noticed searches for Edinburgh accommodation to rent during the Royal Highland Show, Muirfield Golf Open, Edinburgh Festival and Edinburgh Fringe. In case anyone is interested, I help to administer a family flat in Edinburgh which is available for both short-term holiday lets and long-term rentals for however many months or years. So, if anyone is interested and requires accommodation, please do get in touch with me on 015394 43440, and ask for the Edinburgh flat.
Here is just a little information about the flat in Edinburgh. It is very well-located in safe and prestigious Murrayfield proper, just a mile from the heart of Edinburgh City centre. Haymarket Train Station is a few minutes’ walk. Local buses, all of which go to town, stop for passengers at the bus stops only 3 minutes’ walk from the flat.
There are 4 bedrooms in this flat: 2 double rooms, 1 twin room, and 1 single room. This light and airy apartment also has 2 separate reception rooms: a dining room and a living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with all mod cons and has a pretty window seat. There is a bathroom with bath and shower over.
The apartment itself is very quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac. The area is residential, and populated by professionals, professional families, and retirees. This is a double upper flat, which comprises the two upper floors of a Victorian semi-detached house. It has been recently refurbished in a sympathetic manner and retains all its original period charm, such as open fireplaces and cornices.
The views from this flat are stunning as they look over Old Edinburgh rooftops to the hills beyond. There is a small outside area with a garden bench for mooching about on sunny days on this peaceful street. Neighbours are friendly and local amenities are a 3-minute walk from the flat. There is free street parking.
This is a totally non-smoking flat. It is a much loved residence and is well cared for. Tenants and holiday makers over the years have enjoyed the flat, with many being academics who come to the universities in Edinburgh City for sabbaticals. Others find the flat’s proximity to good road, bus, and rail links a great base to stay in. The flat also attracts rugby fans who go to watch the game at Murrayfield Stadium, about 5 minutes’ walk.
This Edinburgh City apartment is available from 31st May 2013 onwards, as there are currently some French tenants staying in it. For more details about the flat, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 015394 43440. More details about the flat and photos of what it looks like can be found here: www.edinburghholidayapartment.co.uk. Please note that the website is managed by another family member and prices there may not be quite up to date as he is often away. However, I will be able to provide a rental price for the flat. Moreover, for longer holiday breaks or long-term tenancies, there is usually a discount. If you tell me your dates, I will be able to quote accordingly.
