I am so excited! After months of anticipation, the videos I had been working on with Pui have yet to be completed. However, Sebastian Marley offered to make a free video for us instead and he did it very quickly indeed. I have put it up on our Facebook page, so please do have a look if you are interested: www.facebook.com/BlenheimLodgeGuestHouse. Do let me know what you think!
Meanwhile, it has been another hot day here in Bowness-on-Windermere. The Queen visited our little town and then took a boat to Ambleside. I am afraid that I did not join the crowds to welcome her as I was servicing the rooms at the time. Nonetheless, I do have much respect for our Queen – for her dignity, her faith and her commitment to this country and the Commonwealth.
This will be a short post as I am actually cooking some pasta as I type, and must go and see to it before it becomes mush and not al dente. If we get good feedback from people looking at our video, I might ask Sebastian to help us with more video work. There is still lots of material to complete that is simply sitting there awaiting Pui’s input as part of her secondment to us from university; but as she is too busy at present to work on it, I just might pay Sebastian to do the work instead.
