Windermere Pram Race on New Year’s Day

I was reading a local newspaper last Thursday and came across a quirky article about a fun pram race on New Year’s Day. This first race of its kind after a hiatus of 15 years will be held in Windermere as the name of the event suggests. The object is to have a good time and to raise funds for charity at the same time.

For visitors to the Lakes, I think it would be a great way to enjoy New Year’s Day. Applications are still open for people to take part, although spectating would be just as good fun especially if one is cheering on a specific team or teams. I have written a little bit about the New Year’s Day 2015 Windermere Pram Race, so do feel free to take a peek:

I hope you enjoy reading it.
