Excitement! We have a new website!

I wrote in my previous post that I had been very busy trying to do lots of things at the same time. Well, one of them has now been completed: we have a new website. I began work on it in March and it only went live on 15th July. It really is most difficult indeed trying to spread oneself so thinly across a spectrum of things that simply must be done in our B&B.

The website has a totally different look from our previous one, and this time we also hired a photographer to take some images of the house, rooms and views from our Bowness Bed and Breakfast. Having said that, we have also used a lot of amateur photographs snapped by yours truly and some still relevant photographs from the previous website. Aside from these, as members of Cumbria Tourism, we have access to a library of images of the Lake District National Park too.

The new website is set up on a WordPress template, and so our other Blog about life in our B&B is now linked to this website. I found a photograph (see above) someone took for me of Lake Windermere to put up as a photo header for the Blog. It was taken one Summer evening as the sun began to cast its orange rays upon the water.

Do take a look at our new website and let me know what you think! And do come and visit us at Blenheim Lodge should you be heading this way. You will find a warm welcome here!

Blenheim Lodge . . . panoramic Lake views, peace and tranquillity, nestled against acres of beautiful fields and woodlands, in the heart of the English Lake District National Park.’
