Walking to Biskey Howe

I haven’t had much opportunity of going out walking with Hubby and Zack of late due to the amount of work I have had to do in the house. However, I managed to complete most of my chores by late evening yesterday and went out for a walk through the fields and woodlands of Brant Fell behind our house and on to Biskey Howe viewpoint. It was a lovely evening, and I really enjoyed listening to the birds calling to each other on the fell.

We started off by going out of our back door and onto the fell. The field was covered in dew, and soon my boots were soaking wet. Nonetheless, this did not detract from an enjoyable walk.

We crossed fields and traversed woodland paths.

Soon we reached Biskey Howe viewpoint.

Our evening constitutional took rather longer than we had expected. I had originally wanted to walk to the pond behind our house, but the path was all churned up, hence the change of plan en-route to walk up Biskey Howe instead. I would still like to walk over to the pond, but will await a sunny day to traverse that muddy path!
