Enjoy a New Year Break in the Lakes

It’s almost the end of 2016 and the Christmas and New Year holidays will soon be upon us. Although we close at Christmastime, we are open for New Year. So, if you are looking for a relaxing break in the Lake District, do come and look us up!

We have different room types available for this festive season. Prices are £65 per night B&B for our single en-suite rooms and range from £107 per night B&B for our double en-suite rooms. We also have one bedroom which offers flexible sleeping accommodation for double, twin or triple occupancy. All our rooms have views of Lake Windermere and the fells, bar one which has a countryside view instead.

The Eyrie is a cute single room under the eaves at Blenheim Lodge. Full of character, this room offers outstanding panoramic views of Windermere and the fells.

Bowness-on-Windermere will be open as usual for business and tourists over the New Year period. The shops, restaurants, and most attractions will operate as usual. And, of course, our beautiful Lakeland countryside is always there to welcome climbers, walkers, and sightseers.

Although our guest house, Blenheim Lodge, is registered as a Bed and Breakfast only with the local council, we would be more than happy to help our guests book ahead for dinner or lunch at the many eateries which serve Bowness and the Lakes in general. Indeed there are lots of places to eat within an easy 5-minute walk of our front door. We are also more than happy to help book our guests on guided activities. Just ask.
